The same applies if we provide you with informational material upon request or if we are answering your requests. In these cases, we will always point this out to you. In addition, we only save the data that you have automatically or voluntarily sent to us.

When you use one of our services, we usually only collect the data that are required to be able to offer you our service. We may ask you for additional information, but this is of a voluntary nature. Whenever we process personal data, we do this to be able to offer you our service or to pursue our commercial objectives.
Automatically stored non-personal data

These data are anonymised and only used for statistical purposes or to improve our Internet and online services.

These anonymised data are stored on secure systems (separately from personal data) and cannot be assigned to any individual persons. This means that your personal data remain protected at all times.

Cookies
When you visit our web pages, we may save information on your computer in the form of cookies. Cookies are small files that are transmitted from an Internet server to your browser and that are stored on its hard drive. The legal basis for using cookies is article 6 (1) lit f GDPR [General Data Protection Regulation].
Only the Internet protocol address is saved here and no personal data. This information that is stored in the cookies makes it possible to automatically recognise you the next time you visit our website, which facilitates your use.

Of course you can also visit our web pages without accepting cookies. If you do not want your computer to be recognised during your next visit, you can also decline to use cookies by changing the settings in your browser to “Decline cookies”. You can find the procedure for this in the operating instructions of your respective browser. If you decline to use cookies, however, this may limit the use of some areas of our web pages.

Google Analytics with anonymisation function
We use Google Analytics on our site, a web analysis service from the company Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Irland, hereinafter referred to as “Google”. Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, which are text files that are stored on your computer and that therefore allow an analysis of your website use. The information generated by these cookies, for example the time, location and frequency of your website visit, including your IP address, are transmitted to Google in the US and stored there.
On our website, we use Google Analytics with the addition “_gat._anonymizeIp”. In this case, your IP address will already be shortened within the member states of the European Union or in other member states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area and therefore will be anonymised.
Google will use this information to assess your use of our site, to compile reports about website activities for the ourselves and to provide additional services associated with the website use and Internet use. Google may also transfer this information to third parties if this is legally prescribed or if third parties process this data on behalf of Google. According to their own information, Google will in no case associate your IP address with other data held by Google. You can prevent the installation of cookies through the corresponding settings in your browser software. We would like to point out to you that in this case you may not be able to fully use all functions of our website.
Furthermore, Google offers a disable add-on for the most popular browsers, which gives you more control over which data are recorded by Google about the websites you visit. The add-on tells the JavaScript (ga.js) from Google Analytics that no information about the website visit is to be transmitted to Google Analytics. However, javascript:gaOptout() the disable add-on for browsers of Google Analytics does not prevent information from being sent to us or to other web analysis services that we may use. You can find additional information about installing the browser add-on via the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en

When you visit our site via a mobile end device (smartphone or tablet), you must instead click this link to prevent Google Analytics from tracking on this website. This is also possible as an alternative to the browser add-on mentioned above. Clicking the link sets an opt-out cookie in your browser that only applies to this browser and this domain. If you delete cookies in this browser, the opt-out cookie will also be deleted so that the link will need to be clicked again.

If you have consented to Google linking your web and app browsing history with your Google account and using information from your Google account to personalise advertisements, Google will use your data together with Google Analytics data to create target group lists for cross-device remarketing. For this purpose, Google Analytics will first record your Google-authenticated ID on our website, which is linked with your Google account (i.e. personal data). Then Google Analytics will temporarily link your ID with your Google Analytics data to optimise our target groups.

If you do not consent to this, you can opt out of this by applying the appropriate settings in the “My Account” area of your Google account.

Google Doubleclick
DoubleClick by Google uses cookies to present relevant advertisements to you. Your browser is assigned a pseudonymous identification number (ID) for this purpose to check which advertisements have appeared in your browser and which advertisements have been viewed. The cookies do not contain any personal information. Using DoubleClick cookies only allows Google and its partner websites to show advertisements based on previous visits to our or other websites on the Internet. Google sends the information generated by the cookies to a server in the US and stores it there for evaluation. Google observes the data protection provisions of the “Privacy Shield” agreement and is registered with the “Privacy Shield” programme of the US Department of Commerce. The data are only transmitted to third parties if required by legal instruction or as part of order data processing. In no case will Google match your data with other data recorded by Google.

By using our websites, you agree to Google processing the data collected about you in the manner of data processing described above and for the aforementioned purpose. You can prevent the storage of cookies by making corresponding settings in your browser software: we would like to point out to you that in this case you may not be able to fully use all functions of our web pages. In addition, you can prevent Google from collecting and processing data generated by the cookies about your usage of the web pages by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link under DoubleClick disable extension. Alternatively, you can also disable the DoubleClick cookies with this opt-out.
